valencia Team News:

Geoffrey Kondogbia and Goncalo Guedes are both set for two months out due to injuries. Francis Coquelin is also out so Carlos Soler should feature in central midfield here.

huesca Team News:

Chimy Avila is suspended. Centre-back Ruben Semedo is available again but may have to settle for a place on the bench. Serdar Gurler should start on the right of the attack.

valencia vs huesca Head to Head:

This will be the first ever league meeting between the clubs.

valencia vs huesca Tip Reason:

The last newly promoted team to win their first meeting against Valencia in LaLiga was Getafe (1-0 in November 2004). Since this game, the Valencian side has won all five such matches. Huesca have lost each of their three LaLiga games against sides to have competed in the Champions League this season, scoring only two goals and conceding 12. Valencia are only the second team in LaLiga history to draw 10 of their opening 16 games to a season (W3 D10 L3) after Sporting de Gijón in the 1982/83 season (W4 D10 L2). Huesca have lost each of their last six LaLiga away games, conceding three goals per game on average. Valencia have only scored 13 goals in 16 LaLiga games this season, their worst scoring record at this stage of a season in the competition. Valencia (6.1%) and Huesca (6.6%) have the lowest shot conversion rates in LaLiga this season. Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno scored in his last LaLiga appearance (against Eibar), this after failing to score in his previous 12 games in the competition.
