burnley vs fulham Statistics:

Burnley managed to avoid a FA Cup upset last weekend as they beat Barnsley 1-0 at Turf Moor, but more importantly it keeps confidence growing for a Clarets side who have struggled enormously this season. This was their 3rd consecutive victory in all competitions, and slowly but surely the memory of losing 9 games out of 11 between October and December is fading away. They might not reach the same lofty heights as they did last term, but Burnley fans will be optimistic about their survival chances now. Prior to their FA Cup triumph they beat West Ham and Huddersfield in the Premier League, pushing them up to 16th in the table and giving them a slender 2 point cushion between them and the relegation zone. This clash with 19th placed Fulham is a fantastic chance to give themselves a bit of breathing room, so Sean Dyche will be keen to take that chance. Fulham’s confidence isn’t so great after their FA Cup loss at home to Oldham, following on from their 4-1 thrashing against Arsenal to leave them out of the cup and with a 4 point gulf between them and Premier League safety. Claudio Ranieri has started to work his magic on the Cottagers at times though. That defeat to Arsenal came at the end of a 3 match unbeaten streak, but 2 of those matches were on home soil and away from home things have been very difficult for the visitors. In fact, Fulham are yet to win on their travels this season, drawing twice and losing 9 of their 11 Premier League trips away and conceding a dismal 28 goals in the process. They face a Burnley side who have won 3 of their last 4 home games in all competitions on Saturday, and the stakes are very high for both clubs. Considering Burnley’s recent resurgence, we fancy them to take all 3 points on Saturday. They are unbeaten in their last 29 home meetings with Fulham and have won 24 of these games, so we’re backing a Burnley Win along with a 2-1 correct score predictions on Saturday.
