manchester-united vs brighton Tip Reason:

The transformation at Old Trafford continues to astound, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer passing his first real test at Manchester United with flying colours last weekend. They came away from Wembley with a 1-0 win over Spurs, and while some would argue they were lucky to keep Harry Kane and company out, it’s just as easy to argue that this fixture would have likely produced a thrashing just a couple of months ago. This made it 6 wins on the trot for Solskjaer’s Manchester United, and 5 on the bounce in the Premier League. They have managed to draw level with Arsenal on points and are only 6 points adrift of the top 4, so at the moment things are looking very bright for The Red Devils. Brighton are undoubtedly the underdogs here, but there’s no denying that they are a very good team as well. They showed that in their 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Amex Stadium earlier in the season, and that’s far from their only impressive result this season. The Seagulls sit in a respectable 13th position in the table, and they’re only 6 points off a potential Europa League qualifying 7th position. Unfortunately for them, their form has dipped in recent weeks. Their narrow defeat to Liverpool last weekend made it just 1 win from their last 7 Premier League outings, and while their away form has improved since last season, there is still a long way to go in that respect. Brighton have won 2, drawn 2, and lost 7 of their 11 league away days this season, so facing an in form Manchester United side won’t be top of their wish-list. Manchester United’s recent form has even seen their defence improve with back to back clean sheets, and considering they have won each of their last 4 home league games against Brighton without conceding a single goal, we think a Manchester United Win to Nil bet along with a 2-0 correct score predictions is a great choice on Saturday. We’re also backing Marcus Rashford to find the net on Saturday. The young Englishman has started every Premier League game since Solskjaer took charge and has found the net in all but one, so backing him for our anytime goalscorer predictions looks a good shout.
