arsenal Team News:

Arsenal are without Rob Holding, Danny Welbeck, and Hector Bellerin here, while Alex Iwobi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Stephan Lichsteiner are all doubts too.

bournemouth Team News:

Jefferson Lerma will serve a suspension here, joining the injured Lewis Cook, Simon Francis, Callum Wilson, and David Brooks on the sidelines. Junior Stanislas is an injury doubt as well.

arsenal vs bournemouth Tip Reason:

Arsenal managed to sneak their way back into the Premier League top 4 on Sunday as a 2-0 win over Southampton coincided with Manchester United’s stalemate with Liverpool. Add that to Chelsea’s missing fixture due to the Carabao Cup Final and the result is a 1 point cushion in the Champions League spots for Unai Emery’s men. This rather comfortable victory followed on from their 2-1 win away to Huddersfield earlier in the month, and it does seem like the Gunners are returning to form after a difficult winter period. There are still concerns around the Emirates, but with 4 wins in their last 5 league games, those concerns are easing a bit. Especially impressive is their form at the Emirates. They haven’t lost a Premier League game at home since the opening weekend of the season when Manchester City came to town, and since then they have won 11 and drawn 2 of their 13 matches. Each of their last 7 league games there have ended in a victory, including a 4-2 win over North London rivals Spurs and a 2-0 triumph over Chelsea. This isn’t particularly good news for Bournemouth, because while they have seen a slight upturn in their form recently, there are areas that they are still struggling in. Their 1-1 draw against Wolves on Saturday was a good result, and recent victories over West Ham and Chelsea have been excellent too. The problem is that these successes tend to come at the Vitality Stadium, leaving their away form in a dire situation. Eddie Howe’s men haven’t won a Premier League away game since the end of October, and in fact they haven’t even managed a point since then. Their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool earlier this month made it 8 away losses on the bounce, with them conceding 23 goals in this period. They now face an Arsenal side who have scored 18 goals in their last 7 home matches, so it will be a real struggle for the visitors. We’re expecting a comfortable win for Arsenal here. The Gunners have won 9 of their 14 home games this season by at least a 2 goal margin, and Bournemouth have lost by 2 or more goals in each of their last 7 trips away. This makes an Arsenal -1.0 Asian Handicap win look a great value bet, along with a 3-1 correct score prediction. Alexandre Lacazette is the man in form for the hosts too. The Frenchman scored against Southampton and has now netted in each of his last 4 home league games. He has scored 23 goals in 37 home appearances for Arsenal, so he looks a fine choice for our anytime goalscorer predictions.
