dundee vs hibernian Tip Reason:

Dundee v Hibs predictions for Friday night’s Scottish Premiership clash in the bottom half of the table. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips. Dundee’s season continues to improve under the guidance of Jim McIntyre. The club currently sits in 10th place and level on points with Hamilton, who have replaced the Dee in the relegation zone. With 12 games left in the season, it’s looking increasingly likely that the bottom three have a massive fight coming up. McIntyre took a while to settle into Dundee, as his first few games in charge didn’t bring much change to the situation at the time. However, December saw some positivity return to the club, before the year’s last month turned sour. A fantastic 1-1 draw with Rangers was followed by Three consecutive defeats, a goalless draw against Livingston before ending the year with another loss, this time to a high-flying St Johnstone. The new year got off to a fairly positive start, with Dundee drawing against Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup and a 2-1 against Hearts. The former would knock the dee out in the replay, and McIntyre’s side hasn’t known defeat in the three matches since. Last week’s 2-1 win over a poor Livingston side was the end product of two positive draws against relegation rivals Hamilton and then Kilmarnock. Following a few weeks of uncertainty as to who was going to take charge of Hibs after the surprise departure of Neil Lennon at the end of January, ex-Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom was appointed last week. The Englishman took over from caretaker manager Eddie May, who had done a fairly good job considering who the Hibees had to play. May’s first game in charge was against bottom of the league St Mirren, winning 3-1 at St Mirren. The big test for the club was the following two games against Aberdeen and then Celtic- neither of which they were able to win, losing both times 2-1 and 2-0, respectively. Heckingbottom would then take over for the first time in last week’s 2-0 game against a Hamilton who had also just appointed a new manager in Brian Rice. Two first half goals are all Hibs needed to take all three points on their new manager’s debut, as the victory ensured they pushed further up the table into 7th place before Motherwell played and won their game, which meant Hibs dropped back into 8th place. The Edinburgh club now face a few tough games ahead, including two consecutive games against Celtic in the Scottish Cup quarter-final and then Rangers in the league. Dundee are in-form at the moment, and they haven’t lost in their last three games. The fact they’ve managed to steer themselves out of the relegation zone is bound to give them an extra confidence boost, but the same could be said for a resurgent Hibs side that’s desperate to claw their way back into the top half of the table before the split. We’re going to back for the visitors to win & both teams to score, as Dundee have scored in 6 of their last 7 games, regardless of the final outcome, and a final score of 2-1 for the Hibees.
