lincoln-city vs exeter Tip Reason:

As every game goes by, Lincoln City can feel themselves getting closer and closer to their ultimate goal of lifting the League Two title. This Tuesday they play their game in hand and look to extend their league at the top of the table when they face off against an Exeter City side who have promotion aspirations of their own and are enjoying some good form at the moment. After a frustrating few weeks, Lincoln City got back to winning ways at the weekend as they overcame lowly Morecambe to record a comfortable 2-0 victory. That result put an end to a sequence of games in which they had to settle for a share of the spoils and means that they now hold a two point lead over Bury in second place. The Imps may still be undefeated in their 10 league matches, but those drawn matches have no doubt given confidence to the rest of the division, as they have been able to see the side which has looked dominant for the majority of the campaign is not quite as invincible as they once looked. If Lincoln are to emerge victorious then one man who is sure to play a pivotal role is 25-years-old Bruno Andrade. The man signed from Boreham Wood in the summer has been in excellent form of late and his six goals in his last four appearances certainly suggest that he is a good bet to find the back of the net anytime against Exeter on Tuesday. Making the trip to Sincil Bank is an Exeter City side who endured a bit of a dip in form in the new year but look to be back to the sort of side many tipped for promotion at the start of the season. The Grecians may have fallen to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bury a few weeks ago, but they bounced back in perfect fashion at the weekend as they managed to overcome a Crewe side who have been one of the form teams in the division in recent weeks. With both of these sides gunning for promotion, it seems likely that they will lay it all on the line in this fixture. The form of Andrade for Lincoln City, coupled with the fact that the Imps have found the back of the net in each of their last 17 league matches, means we are pretty sure the hosts will score at least once. When you couple that with the fact that 81% of their home matches have finished with both teams scoring and their visitors are looking in good shape at the moment, then we think that backing both teams to score represents the best opportunity of a decent return.
