sheffield-united vs nottingham Tip Reason:

Sheffield United’s 1-1 draw with Millwall last weekend saw them fail to win in consecutive Championship matches for the first time since January, and it did a good job of damaging their chances of reaching the automatic promotion spots as well. These back to back draws leave them 3rd in the table, currently three points adrift of Leeds United in 2nd and some seven behind Norwich in the top spot. Of course, with four games left to play there is still a good chance that United can break into the top two, but they really could have done without these recent failings. That being said, The Blades are proving a very tough side to beat this season. They have only lost one of their last 14 Championship matches and only Norwich have lost fewer times than them this season. Their major issue tends to be seeing out the game from a winning position, as shown by the fact that each of their last three failures to win have come despite them scoring the opening goal. Nottingham Forest aren’t exactly the toughest test that Sheffield United will face though. Their 2-1 loss at home to Blackburn Rovers at the weekend made it three defeats on the trot, leaving them 11th in the table and an almost insurmountable eight points adrift of the last of the playoff spots. It’s looking like another season of mid-table obscurity for Forest here. The Reds’ most abundant failings come when playing away from home, despite them losing just one of their first 12 away games in the Championship this season. The second half of the season has seen them fall apart on the road, losing six of their last nine and not wining since November. On Good Friday they face a Sheffield United side with a formidable record at Bramall Lane too. The Blades may have failed to win their last two games there, but prior to that they were on an eight match winning streak in the league and had kept a clean sheet for seven games on the trot. All things considered, we think backing a Sheffield United Win on Friday is the best option, along with a 2-0 correct score prediction.
