west-ham vs leicester Tip Reason:

A dogged performance at Old Trafford last weekend went ultimately unrewarded for West Ham as they lost 2-1 to Manchester United, but there were some positive notes to take from that performance. However, this made it three defeats on the bounce for The Hammers, and their lack of consistency throughout this season has been a real issue. They can put in some top notch performances and give any team a hard time, but on other days they can slump to passionless defeat to the likes of Cardiff. All in all, the result has been a mediocre and rather frustrating season. Coming into their final four games of the campaign, West Ham find themselves 11th in the table and five points adrift of a 7th place standing that could yield Europa League qualification. Leicester City are the team currently in the driving seat for this spot, occupying 7th place but only ahead of Wolves on goal difference and having played a game more than their European chasing rivals. The Foxes are in fantastic form for the most part though. They fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Newcastle last weekend, admittedly, but prior to that they had won four on the bounce and really seem to be taking to Brendan Rodgers’ way of working. Away from home they have managed to win their last two matches, but West Ham could provide a tough test on Saturday. The hosts have won three of their last four at the London Stadium, although their most recent outing there was a dreadful performance in a 2-0 defeat to Everton. What we can expect from this game is a few goals to entertain us. West Ham have seen at least three goals in seven of their last 12 home games and have score in all but three of these matches. Leicester, meanwhile, have seen both teams find the net in each of their last six away days, with at least three goals being scored in five of them. This makes Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score look an attractive option on Saturday, along with a 2-1 win for the in form Foxes.
