bournemouth vs everton Tip Reason:

Having lost two Premier League games in succession by identical 3-1 scorelines just before the international break, the recent club football hiatus was a welcome one for Bournemouth and Eddie Howe. The Cherries took just four points in total from their opening four Premier League fixtures of the new season, though their underwhelming form in new campaign so far is an extension of what has been an equally disappointing and worrying 2019 for the club. Since the turn of the year, Bournemouth have won only six of the 22 league games they have contested, with just half of those victories coming at the Vitality Stadium. But while their results have been more down than up, Bournemouth’s matches have at least shown much more consistency in terms of goals. Three of their first four Premier League fixtures this season returned over 2.5 goals, and seven of their last ten league matches overall saw a minimum of three goals scored. Similarly, both teams scored in 100% of their last five league outings – and it’s in the goal markets that we think the best value lies for the Cherries’ meeting with Everton on Sunday. Having started the season with a brace of dull Premier League encounters against Crystal Palace and Watford, Everton’s matches exploded into life before the international break. An average of 4.33 goals hit the net across the Toffees’ trio of league and cup contests before their players jetted off, and we expect that healthy average to be maintained this weekend. Games between Bournemouth and Everton rarely fail to thrill – over 2.5 goals were registered in four of the last five meetings between the clubs, in fact, that quintet of contests averaged 4.2 goals per 90 minutes. When you couple their head-to-head record with Bournemouth’s penchant for producing thrill a minute Premier League matches, Sunday’s game at the Vitaly Stadium has all the ingredients for a high-scoring fixture. With that considered, we recommend backing the over 2.5 goal and both teams to score combination for the game. Our correct score prediction is in keeping with our main tip – although Bournemouth have a mounting injury list to contend with, their unbeaten home Premier League record against Everton should arm them with the confidence to go toe-to-toe with the Toffees. Bournemouth and Everton drew 2-2 when they last met at the Vitality Stadium last August, and we’re tipping history to repeat itself when they renew acquaintances on Sunday.
