burnley vs chelsea Tip Reason:

After a tough season last year, Sean Dyche’s Burnley team look like they’ve finally rediscovered their Premier League form at the beginning of this campaign. Coming into gameweek 10 they find themselves in an excellent 8th position, although they are still just four points clear of the drop zone. As is always the case with Burnley, avoiding relegation is their primary goal in 2019/20. However, after such a promising start the Clarets fans will be starting to think a little more optimistically now. That being said, their four match unbeaten run came to a halt last weekend as Leicester came from a goal behind to win 2-1 at the King Power Stadium. Additionally, while they remain a difficult side to beat, they have only won two of their last nine competitive matches, and both came against sides in the bottom half of the table (Norwich and Everton). In fact, both of their Premier League outings against the traditional Big Six have ended in defeat, and they don’t have a great record against Chelsea. They have won just one of their last 10 Premier League meetings with Chelsea, and The Blues have won four of their five Premier League away games against them. To make matters worse for the hosts, Chelsea are on a fantastic run of form right now. They ground out a narrow 1-0 win away to Ajax in midweek to extend their winning streak to six competitive games, and away from home their form is just as good. Frank Lampard’s men have won their last five competitive away games and scored 15 goals in the process, and their only defeat remains that 4-0 humbling at Old Trafford in August. Burnley have had a relatively easy run of games at Turf Moor this season, beating Southampton, Norwich and the dreadfully out of shape Everton. However, their only meeting with a team in the top half of the table ended in 3-0 defeat against Liverpool, and considering the history between these sides we think a Chelsea win is a fantastic value bet for Saturday evening. The Blues have had some major issues at the back though, shipping at least one goal in five of their six competitive away games this season, including all four of their Premier League matches. We’re expecting Burnley to find the net, and their relatively solid back line should limit Chelsea to fewer than their average of three goals per away game. We think a 2-1 correct score prediction is the best option here.
