brighton vs norwich Tip Reason:

Brighton will be out to extend their winning streak at home to three Premier League matches at Norwich City’s expense when they face the Canaries at the Amex Stadium on Saturday. After an inspired performance and victory over Tottenham on the south coast in the first week in October, Brighton fell to a last gasp defeat away at Aston Villa just after the international hiatus. However, back on their own patch, the Seagulls recovered well to snatch a last-ditch three points of their own when they scored an injury time winner against Everton in incredibly dramatic fashion. A return of six points and six goals from two home matches is a superb recent haul for an improving Brighton side, and Graham Potter’s men have taken eight points in total from the fifteen on offer at the Amex Stadium since the summer. Buoyed by the surge in confidence from successive home wins, Brighton will expect to claim another three points when they host a struggling Norwich City outfit this weekend. The Canaries have been in a flap since their remarkable 3-2 win over Manchester City on September 14th, and positive results as well as the attacking invention they showed that afternoon at Carrow Road have all but abandoned Norwich since. Daniel Farke watched his charges come unstuck in four of their five Premier League matches since they toppled the champions, and Norwich’s dreadful output in the final third across that quintet of fixtures has compounded their misery further. Norwich failed to score in three of their five fixtures during their winless run, and City managed to scored only two goals in total in their games against Burnley, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Man Utd. On the road, the Canaries have looked completely devoid of attacking threat – in fact, Norwich haven’t scored an away goal since the consolation they hit at Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season. Unsurprisingly, Norwich’s inability to score on their travels has led to a series of poor results, and the Premier League new boys lost four and drew one of their first five top-flight away games since their summer promotion. With Norwich in such horrible form and still in the grip of an injury crisis, Brighton will feel like they are meeting the Canaries at an ideal juncture, and we’re tipping the Seagulls to make the most of their momentum at home to win this weekend. For our correct score prediction, we’re settling on a 2-0 Brighton win. Norwich lost three of their last four Premier League away matches by that scoreline, and the Seagulls showed enough cutting edge in their wins against Spurs and Everton to suggest that they can match that winning margin.
