leicester vs arsenal Tip Reason:

Leicester City are absolutely flying right now and the Foxes’ 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in a tricky assignment at Selhurst Park last weekend was the club’s seventh win in nine Premier League outings. The only two blemishes on the club’s recent record were narrow defeats at Old Trafford to Man Utd (0-1) and at Anfield to league leaders Liverpool (2-1), with the latter needing a penalty deep into injury time to claim the points. At the King Power Stadium, Leicester’s form has been exemplary: after drawing their opening game of the season there 0-0 against Wolves, City have won each of their four home matches since, averaging 3.0 goals per 90 minutes along the way. Under Brendan Rodgers, Leicester’s players are thriving individually, with influential trio Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans particularly potent performers. That talented trident has notched a combined 20 goal contributions (16 goals, four assists) across Leicester’s last nine games; with those three the driving force, Leicester look a match for anyone. By contrast, Arsenal take a record of just two wins from nine in the Premier League into Saturday’s evening kickoff. With tension on the terraces continuing to spike, Unai Emery already seems to be on borrowed time. The Gunners limped to a 1-1 draw in Portugal against Vitoria Guimaraes on Wednesday, following up what was an equally flat display against Wolves the previous weekend in another 1-1 tie. Emery’s penchant for making strange tactical decisions continues to draw heavy criticism. Arsenal’s players are performing with the air of a squad that knows a change in the dugout is coming and, in that frame of mind, they look ill equipped to cope with a rampant Leicester City side this weekend. Poor travellers Arsenal are without a league win on the road since their opening weekend of the season victory at Newcastle. With the Gunners looking so brittle in every department, Leicester City are priced incredibly generously to beat them in the match result markets for Saturday. While we expect Leicester to take all three points, we don’t see the Foxes winning by a huge margin. Free-scoring Liverpool are the only team to score more than two goals against Arsenal in the Premier League so far this season, and despite their poor overall results, the Gunners have managed to register in 10 of their 11 top-flight fixtures since August. More recently, Arsenal have conceded an average of 2.2 goals per 90 minutes over their last five matches, while Leicester have scored exactly two goals in four of their seven Premier League wins this term. With those figures acknowledged, we’re making a 2-1 Leicester win our correct score prediction.
