tottenham vs liverpool Tip Reason:

Spurs have won just one of their last five matches and have suffered injuries to Harry Kane, Tanguy N’Dombele and Moussa Sissoko. Liverpool have won nine of their last 14 Premier League meetings with Spurs, losing just once. Each of the last three Premier League meetings between these sides has ended 2-1 to Liverpool. Liverpool have won 95% of their league matches this season. Injury crisis hits out of form Tottenham Jose Mourinho’s honeymoon period at Tottenham Hotspur seems well and truly over now, with his new club hitting some rough times over the last few weeks. Most recently, they were held at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup to make it one win in five in all competitions, but the problems extend beyond mere results. Talismanic striker Harry Kane has been ruled out for an unknown amount of time, and injuries to both Tanguy N’Dombele and Moussa Sissoko have followed to leave Spurs without some important first team players. Add to that the fact that they are 6th in the Premier League, six points adrift of Chelsea in 4th and having dropped eight points in their last four games and it’s easy to see why the fans aren’t overly happy right now. Unstoppable Liverpool march towards their first Premier League title The same can’t be said of Liverpool fans, who are watching their team dominate on every platform. A youthful squad won another Merseyside Derby in the FA Cup last weekend, and in the Premier League they find themselves a massive 13 points clear of 2nd place Leicester. Liverpool’s last Premier League outing was a routine win at home to Sheffield United, making it 19 wins from their opening 20 league matches and extending their winning streak to 11 top flight fixtures. At the moment, it’s more a case of when Liverpool will lift their first Premier League title rather than if they will. History and form favours the Reds Tottenham have had some success at their new stadium this season, but even then they have only won six of their 10 league matches there. Saturday pits them against a Liverpool side with a 89% win rate away from home in the league this season, and they’re facing that challenge without their star man. Not only that, but Spurs have won just one of their last 14 Premier League meetings with Liverpool and have lost nine of them, so backing a Liverpool Win looks excellent value for money. Liverpool have conceded in over half their away games though, and they face a Spurs side that have only failed to score twice at home this season. With Liverpool averaging two goals per away game and winning each of the last three Premier League meetings with Spurs by a 2-1 scoreline, that’s what we’re opting for in the correct score market.
