parma vs lazio Tip Reason:

Lazio are unbeaten in 17 Serie A matches ahead of Sunday’s game. Lazio won six and drew two of their last eight Serie A away fixtures. The Biancocelesti conceded in 100% of those games however. Lazio won each of their last three Serie A meetings with Parma. Lazio’s lengthy unbeaten run Having been held to a 0-0 draw by Verona in the Italian capital on Wednesday, Lazio will be determined to recover quickly this weekend to keep themselves in this season’s Serie A title race. With every point crucial, a win on Wednesday would have put Lazio into second spot behind leaders Juventus, but a combination of the woodwork, good goalkeeping from Verona keeper Marco Silvestri and some poor finishing denied them the victory they needed. The draw did at least, serve to extend Lazio’s lengthy Serie A unbeaten sequence which now stands at a meaty 17 games, though that record should be given a good test this weekend by Parma. Parma searching for European football Roberto D’Aversa’s side are hovering just outside the continental qualification places at present, though a positive result on Sunday could launch them into 6th place at Cagliari’s expense if things go their way. A run of just two wins from their last seven in all competitions leaves I Crociati looking less than solid confidence wise however, and we think a Lazio team desperate for wins can capitalise. With the talismanic Ciro Immobile in particularly devastating form, Lazio are unbeaten in eight Serie A away games on the road, winning six and drawing the other two of their successful octet of tests. However, it’s worth noting that Lazio conceded in 100% of those assignments on the road, and the Biancocelesti managed to keep their hosts out just once in 10 attempts away from home in total this term. Goals likely at both ends Lazio’s penchant for leaking goals on the road should allow Parma into score this weekend, though any goal the I Crociati manage to plunder will likely be a consolation effort against a Lazio team that hasn’t lost in the league since their 0-1 reverse at Inter back in September. That combination of factors makes the Lazio and both teams to score selection a market worth considering this weekend, especially at the prices quoted, while our correct score bettors are pointed towards a 2-1 away win. Lazio scored exactly two goals in seven of their last eight away matches in Serie A, with all six of their wins on their travels during that period secured by the same 2-1 final scoreline. Having scored twice against Parma in the reverse league fixture between the clubs in late September last year, we’re backing the ultra-efficient Biancocelesti to repeat the trick on Sunday.
